Automated Donations Donor Communication Preview

When a donor completes a donation on Trellis, they automatically receive email confirmations with PDF attachments. If you have tax receipting enabled, they'll receive a separate tax receipt as well. This article shows you what each of those emails and PDFs look like.

After completing a donation, the donor receives a confirmation email with a PDF receipt attached.

What if a donor doesn't receive their receipt?

Ask them to check their spam or junk folder. If it's not there, you can resend the tax receipt by going to your Dashboard > Results > Tax Receipts. Select your fundraiser in the top-right and search for the donor. From there you will use the 3 dots and click Email to Donor.
