Recommended Guidelines After Your Raffle or 50/50 is Published

In this article, we will guide you on how to make sure all the details of your raffle or 50/50 draw are accurate after they have been published.

Once your page is published, begin by checking the following: 

1. Check the following details of your page/raffle:

  • Dates
  • Times
  • Timezones

2. Make sure you have a separate lottery account(if applicable - check with your provincial gaming)
If you're collecting donations or running auctions, event ticketing or selling items on the same fundraising page, you may need to deposit your raffle funds into a separate bank account. To add a lottery bank account click here!

Pro Tip:

If you added your banking details before your raffle was published, we've already ensured your gaming bank is connected to your raffle or 50/50.

If you added your gaming bank details after publishing your raffle, please reach out to raffles@trellis.org to link the correct bank account to your raffle or 50/50.


3. Make sure your general bank account is set as default banking to redirect all the other purchase sales. 

There are certain aspects of your raffle or 50/50 that you have the ability to edit even after it has been published. These include the following:

  • Raffle prize title
  • Raffle prize description
  • Raffle prize image

To edit these sections, follow the instructions below: 

1. Login to your Trellis account.

2. On your Main Dashboard, click Edit under the page where you have the raffle published.

3. Navigate to your sidebar settings and select Raffles & 50/50s.

4. Click Edit Raffle.

5. To edit your prize details, simply click on the pencil icon next to your prize information.

If you want to make changes to the rules of play for your raffle, please reach out to raffles@trellis.org and the raffle specialist will be able to assist you. 


6. You can update your raffle title and description.

7. You can edit your prize image(s) and click Save.


8. After saving the changes, hit publish changes and check your live page to verify.

You still have the option to modify the appearance of your page using the page builder. Just remember to click on the "Publish Changes" button each time you make any updates.

Please be aware that once you change the status back to Paused, it is now your responsibility to make sure you go live with your page.
