How to Hide a Silent Auction Item

Learn this workaround to hide silent auction items until they are ready for bidding.

While Trellis doesn't (yet) have a formal option to hide a silent auction item, you can use this workaround to accomplish the same goal.

To remove a silent auction item from your fundraiser page until it's ready for bidding, switch the auction listing type on the item from Silent to Live. 

Please Note:

If you are using the Live Auction Preview section on your fundraiser page, make sure the hidden silent auction items are not in the first six Live items, so it won't appear in this preview.
