The Event and Sales Manager (ESM) gives you access to the Check-In Tool, Sales Entry System, and FAN Quick Entry Tool. This article walks through how both volunteers and organizers can log in using the method that works best for them.
How to Find the ESM
- To access the ESM, go to: esm.trellis.org/login
- This login page is separate from the main Trellis dashboard, so it's a good idea to bookmark it for easy access on event day.
- You can also click the ESM Icon on the fundraiser card from the dashboard.
Two Ways to Log In
There are two login options for the ESM, depending on the type of user:
1. Organizer Login (Username and Password)
-
Best for: Organizers
-
Use the same username and password you use to log into the main Trellis dashboard.
-
Click “Organizer Login” to enter your credentials.
-
If your password isn’t working, you can click “Forgot password?” to reset it.
If the Organizer login doesn’t work for any reason, you can switch to the Volunteer Login and send yourself a magic link instead.
2. Volunteer Login (Magic Link)
-
Best for: Volunteers
-
Click “Volunteer Login” and enter your email address.
-
You’ll receive a magic login link by email. Click the link to access the ESM—no password required.
Magic link reminders:
-
Links expire after 6 hours.
-
Links can only be used once.
-
If you click an expired or used link, you’ll be prompted to send yourself a new one.
Logging in with Google
Both volunteers and organizers can also choose to log in using Google. This option is available on both login screens.
Troubleshooting and Permissions
-
Donors cannot log in to the ESM. If a donor tries to log in, they will be blocked.
-
You cannot create a new account from the ESM login page. If someone cannot access the ESM, they will need to contact the Organization Manager to be granted permission.
-
It’s a good idea to have a backup plan in case a volunteer is unable to log in. Set up a shared Fundraiser Manager account ahead of time that can be used to access the ESM with a username and password if needed.
