How to Remove a Complimentary Ticket Holder
- From the Dashboard, go to Results and click All Transactions.
- Search for the transaction using the attendee's name, email, or checkout ID.
- Click the 3-dots menu on the right of the transaction and select Issue Refund.
- From the Refund a Checkout page, under Refund Type, select Full Refund.
- Confirm the Total To Refund amount shows $0.00, since no payment was collected for a complimentary ticket.
- Select a reason for the refund: Request By Customer, Duplicate, or Fraudulent.
- Choose whether to send a confirmation email to the attendee.
- Click Refund.
Heads Up: Attendees cannot be deleted. Issuing a refund is the only way to remove someone from your Check-In tool, even when no payment is involved.
Please Note: Since this is a $0 refund, no tax receipt or payment is affected. This process is only for removing the attendee, not for handling a paid ticket. If the attendee paid for their ticket, see How to Issue a Full Refund.
