How to Sync a Test Transaction to RE NXT
Learn how to manually sync your test transactions into RE NXT directly from your dashboard.
Once your Raiser's Edge NXT integration is connected and your integration settings are configured, you can sync test transactions into RE NXT to verify the data looks right before turning on auto-sync. You can trigger this sync yourself from your dashboard, no support request needed.
How to Sync a Test Transaction
- Run a few test transactions on your fundraiser so there is data ready to sync into RE NXT. Refer to this article for steps on how to complete a test checkout. If you already have completed donor checkouts for your fundraiser, you can sync these.
- From your dashboard, navigate to Results > All Transactions to open the all transactions table.
- Find your test transaction, which will show a Not Synced status in the Sync Status column, and click the 3-dot menu.
- Click Sync to RE to start the sync.
- The sidebar will update to show an In Progress or Pending state while the sync runs. You'll receive an email when the sync is complete.

Please Note: Make sure your RE NXT integration is fully connected and your integration settings have been configured before syncing your test transaction.

Will I get notified when the sync is done?
Yes, you'll receive an email once the transaction finishes syncing, whether it succeeds or encounters an error.
What if my test transaction fails to sync?
The sidebar will show which step failed along with an error message. This article goes over how to troubleshoot and resync a failed or partial transaction.
