How to Require a Phone Number for Donor Accounts

Control whether phone number is optional or required when donors create an account on your fundraiser.

When donors create an account to bid or purchase tickets, you can choose whether they must provide a phone number. Making it required ensures you have contact info for all participants.

How to Require a Phone Number

  1. From your fundraiser builder, navigate to Fundraiser Settings > Account Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Scroll to the Account Information section.
  3. Next to Phone Number, open the dropdown and select Required.
  4. Click Save.

Heads Up! This setting only applies to new accounts created after the change is saved. Existing donor accounts will not be affected.
