How to View and Manage Unpaid Carts

Learn how to view attendees with unpaid carts and collect payment.

How to View Unpaid Carts

  1. Navigate to your event's Check-In Tool from your fundraiser dashboard.
  2. Use the filter options to display only attendees with unpaid carts.
  3. To view each attendees cart, click Add to Cart.

How to Collect Payment

Process a Saved Credit Card

  1. Search for the attendee and click Add to Cart.
  2. Select if the attendee is covering fees.
  3. Click Complete Purchase.

Send a Payment Link

  1. Search for the attendee and click Add to Cart.
  2. Click Send Payment Link to email them a direct link that will take them to their cart to complete their purchase.

Send a Campaign to All Attendees with Unpaid Carts

  1. Navigate to the Messages section of your fundraiser dashboard.
  2. Create a new campaign from template.
  3. Select Reminder of Unpaid Carts.
  4. Finalize campaign.
  5. Click Send Campaign to send the campaign immediately or Schedule for Later to send at a later date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a downloadable report of all unpaid carts?

Trellis does not currently offer a standalone unpaid cart report. Use the Check-In Tool filter to view outstanding balances directly within the platform.

What if an attendee doesn't have a saved credit card on file?

If no card is saved, use the Send Payment Link option to email the attendee a link to complete their payment manually. Attendees must have a unique email address on file.
