How to View Custom Field Responses for Ticket Holders

Learn how to find responses to custom fields, like meal choice or dietary restrictions, for your event's ticket holders.

If you've added custom fields to your event tickets, you can find every attendee's responses in your All Transactions Export. This is useful for sharing details like meal counts or dietary restrictions with a caterer or venue.

How to View Custom Field Responses
  1. From your Dashboard, click Results.
  2. Select All Transactions.
  3. Choose your fundraiser from the dropdown in the upper right.
  4. Click Export.
  5. Select your date range and export format, then click Confirm.

Pro Tip: Export as Excel (.xlsx). This keeps all sheets, including the Event Ticket Sheet, in one file. Your custom field responses (like "Meal?" or "Dietary Restrictions") appear as columns on that sheet.

Please Note: This export includes all of your fundraiser's data, including attendees, items, and donations. If you're sharing the file with someone like a caterer, only share the relevant columns (like name and meal choice) rather than the full export.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find more detail on exporting my fundraiser's data?

See How to Download the All Transactions Export and Understanding Your All Transactions Export.

How do I set up custom fields for ticket holders?

See How to Add Custom Fields.

What if I don't see my custom fields in the export?

Custom fields only appear on the Event Ticket Sheet if they were added to your event ticket setup. Confirm your fields are set up under your event ticket settings before exporting.

How can I tell when a custom field has been changed by a ticket holder?

At this time, there currently is no way to see when a custom field response has been changed by a ticket holder. This is something we are considering adding for future implementation.

How can I update a custom field selection for an attendee?

If the ticket holder custom field has been checked to appear in the Check-In Tool, then you can update the selection by editing the attendee from there.

If the custom field does not appear in the Check-In Tool, you can edit the response from the Dashboard > Results > Edit Ticket Holder.
