How to Assign Table Numbers to Attendees

Option 1: Assign Table Numbers Individually
Best for smaller events.

From your Dashboard, click ESM on the fundraiser you are managing.

Open the Check-In Tool.

Search for the attendee by name, email, or phone number.

Click Edit Attendee.

Enter their table number and click Save.

Option 2: Bulk Upload Table Numbers
Best for large events.

Prepare your attendee list with table numbers.

Once uploaded, table numbers will automatically display in the Check-In Tool.

Q: Do you have a tool to create and assign tables directly in Trellis?
No, unfortunately not at this time.
Q: Can the table numbers include table names? For example, could table 1 also include the sponsor's name?
Yes, the table number field allows all types of characters (letters, numbers, characters) so you can include the table name along with the number.
Q: Will guests be notified of their table number when it is assigned?
Attendees will not receive any notifications with their table numbers when it is assigned to them. At check-in, when an attendee is checked in, they receive a welcome text that includes their table number.
If you need to send table numbers ahead of the event, you can use our messaging system to send an email or text to the recipient group Attendees, and use the merge tag Table Numbers.
