If you are using mobile devices at check-in, here's how you can take advantage of the built-in iPhone credit card scanner to quickly add a credit card.
How to Scan on iPhone
Please Note:
The credit card scanner is a native iPhone tool, not a Trellis feature, and is only available when using Safari.
1. Make sure your Safari settings on your iPhone allow for using saved credit cards.
- Settings > Apps > Safari > AutoFill > Credit Cards
2. Once enabled, go to the Event and Sales Manager > Check-In Tool
3. Find the attendee you want to save a credit card too.
4. Click the Credit Card icon to add a new card.
5. From the Add Credit Card form, click into the field to type the credit card number.
6. In the keyboard, swipe past your saved credit cards.
7. The "Scan Card" option should be last.
8. Open the scanner and hold the card in frame, and wait for it to capture.
