Handling BC Audits

This article outlines the steps of how to assist and track our clients' BC Audits

When a client is audited in BC it is important to pass this along to Trellis' raffle specialist so that they can follow the proper protocols and be aware.

Raffle Specialists, please follow these steps:

1. Contact the client and use the following template providing them support and our article on answers for the audit questions.

Hi [name]!

[Name] from our [department] team let me know that you are being audited. I am sorry you are having to deal with this.
We have a great article that outlines some of the questions that Trellis can help you answer in your audit survey here. (https://help.trellis.org/british-columbia-is-your-raffle-going-to-be-audited)

That link should help you answer some of the questions on your survey, and others will be specific to your organization and more internal.
If there are any additional questions that you need assistance with or need anything else from Trellis, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Please keep me posted on the status of this audit. I will be keeping tabs on this and will ensure you are well supported from our end.

Thank you,
[agent name]

2. Add the client to our tracking sheet

3. Create a task to follow up with the client in 1 week, and 2 weeks.

4. Update the public facing article with any new questions that come up, as well as this article with any new information we can use to support our clients. Additionally, use these situations to learn about any changes we should be making to our product.
