Your Checklist to a Successful Virtual Event! Use this checklist to make sure your virtual event is set up for success!

Event Logistics

  • Are you using Trellis Live Streaming or Live Giving?

    • If so, have you booked an onboarding call around Live Streaming or Live Giving?

    • Do you have someone dedicated to handling the Trellis portion of your event (Live Streaming or Live Giving)

  • Host an event dress rehearsal

  • Brief all support staff and volunteers about the event schedule and their roles

Event Flow

  • Confirm your speakers and entertainers know how to access support on the day of your event

  • Confirm the event schedule with all speakers and entertainers

Donor Engagement

  • Do you have enough guests attending to ensure a successful event?

    • Statistics show 65% of ticket purchasers will attend the event

    • 6% of page viewers will bid with your silent auction

  • Communicate key details with your donors leading up to the event

    • If your event is password-protected, share the password with your donors at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Share instructions about how to 'log in' and participate in your event

    • Share this video before the event, and in your event pre-show!

  • Make sure donors know how to get support on the day of the event

    • We recommend having a Donor Support Lead to answer technical questions like how to log in, bid, or engage with your event.
