How to Change the Status of Your Page

This article explains how to update the status of your fundraising page to Live, Paused, or Closed, depending on where you are in your event timeline.

Changing the status of your page controls whether your fundraiser is visible to donors and whether you can collect payments. Use this setting to launch, pause, or archive your page as needed.

How to Update Your Page Status

In the Fundraiser Builder, look for the status dropdown in the status bar at the top of the screen.

Select the status you want—Live, Paused, or Closed.

Once selected, click Publish Changes to apply the new status.

Understanding the Different Statuses

  • Live
When your page is Live, anyone with your fundraiser link can view the site and make purchases or donations. This status is ideal when you’re ready to open ticket sales or collect contributions.

  • Paused
This is the default status when a new page is created. You and your team can view the page and test the experience, but donations and sales will be blocked.
Use this while building your page or sharing a preview with a teammate before launching publicly.

  • Closed
This status removes your fundraiser from public view and stops all transactions. A private copy of the page will still be saved in your Archives for reference.
Use this status after your event ends or if you need to take the page offline.
