Enabling Waitlist and Contacting Wait List

In this article, you will learn how to manage and contact your waitlist for newly available tickets for sale.

How to Enable the Waitlist

You must enable the waitlist on each applicable event ticket. 

  1. Navigate to Event Tickets > Edit Event Tickets.

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit a specific ticket type.

  3. Scroll down to Advanced Settings.

  4. Toggle on Enable Waitlist.

What the Donor Sees:

Once a ticket type sells out, the donors will be presented with the option to "Join the Wait List" and provide their email address.

How to Contact Waitlisted Guests

The waitlist does not automatically release tickets. You must manually contact guests to offer them an event ticket.

  1. From your Dashboard, go to Results > Waitlist.

  2. Select your fundraiser from the dropdown menu.

  3. Use their email address to contact donor via your email provider.

When to Use This Feature

  • Cancellations: A ticket purchase is refunded and a spot opens up.

  • Increased Capacity: You have added more tables or seats to the venue layout.

  • Exclusive Access: You want to offer tickets to high-priority supporters before releasing them to the general public.
