How to Set up Raiser’s Edge Advanced Constituents Settings

In this article, we’ll guide you through setting up the Advanced Constituent Settings for the Raiser’s Edge integration. These settings allow you to include additional constituents in your Raiser’s Edge sync.

By syncing these constituents, you can gain deeper insights into donor behaviour and identify potential long-term donors for your organization.

Advanced Constituents

  1. Use the drop-down menu to select the Advanced Constituents you want to add:
    1. Auction Bidder - the individuals who bid in your silent auction but did not win
    2. Free Purchaser - those who obtained a free ticket or item for your fundraiser
    3. Ticket Holder - individuals for whom an event ticket was purchased, though they did not buy it themselves
    4. Uploaded Attendee - event attendees added through the Trellis Attendee Bulk Upload

Spouse Match Settings

If your organization uses Spousal Matching in Raiser’s Edge, you can decide how gifts should be handled when a non-constituent spouse makes a purchase. Use the drop-down menu to select one of the following options:

  1. Click the drop-down to choose:
    1. Add gift to the full constituent spouse - this option keeps the non-constituent spouse unchanged and attributes the gift to the full constituent spouse
    2. Convert non-constituent spouse to a full constituent - this option converts the non-constituent spouse into a full constituent in Raiser’s Edge, affecting their future records

  1. Click Save to complete the Advanced Consitutent Settings
