Get ready to attend an in-person event

Use these steps below to ensure your Giving Account is complete. This will help you breeze through check-in and easily make purchases at the event, without having to pull out your wallet!

Recommendation 1: Gain access to your giving account on your mobile device

  1. From the fundraiser page, check the top right corner. If you see your name, you are already logged in to your Giving Account. If you see “log-in or sign-up” then you need to gain access.
  2. If you have an existing Giving Account, click “log-in”. You will have an existing giving account if:
    1. You’ve participated in a silent auction
    2. You’ve made a purchase using Trellis
    3. Someone has assigned you tickets
  3. If you don’t already have a Giving Account, then click “sign-up”. 

Note: If you don’t remember creating a Giving Account, it’s possible that you have a Giving Account from a previous fundraiser. Try logging in, or clicking “Forgot Password” to gain access.

 

Recommendation 2: Make sure you’ve completed your ticket holder information

  1. If you purchased tickets, make sure you’ve completed all guest information and assigned tickets to guests. This reduces the amount of information the organization will need to gather at check-in, and ensure they can find everyone’s ticket.

  2. If you’ve been assigned tickets, make sure you’ve completed your ticket information, including any additional questions the organization needs to know, like what dietary restrictions you may have.

Recommendation 3: Save a payment method to your giving account 


Saving a payment method to your account allows you to make purchases during the event from the fundraiser webpage without having to pull out your card.

  1. If you’ve made a purchase on the fundraiser page previously and chose to save your information, you will already have a payment method on file.
  2. If you’ve participated in the silent auction, you will also already have a payment method on file.
  3. If you haven’t done either of these yet, you can save a payment method by going to your Giving Account and clicking on “Payment Methods”
    1. From here, you can add new cards or update and delete existing cards.
Once you’ve completed these three recommendations, you will be all set for your event!
