Scheduling your email and SMS messages allows you to plan ahead, saving time and ensuring smooth communication during your fundraiser. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to set up message scheduling in Trellis.
Getting Started
Note: This feature is only available on certain Trellis plans.

Log in to your Trellis account.

Click Messaging from the left-hand panel

Follow the instructions to set up and edit the content of your campaign.
Schedule Your Campaign

In the Send Campaign section, select Schedule for Later.
Choose a Schedule Type
You have two options:

Custom Date and Time
Pick an exact date and time. This will remain fixed unless you update it before the campaign is sent. -
Relative to Fundraiser Date and Time
Align your campaign timing with key moments in your fundraiser (e.g., ticket launch, auction open).
Setting Up a Relative-Time Campaign

Select the fundraising driver you'd like to base your campaign on.
Note: Only live drivers on your page can be selected. -
Choose when to send your message relative to that driver.

Click Schedule Send.
Pro Tip:
You can continue editing your campaign up until it sends—giving you flexibility for last-minute changes.
