How to Schedule Campaigns on Trellis Messaging

Learn how to schedule email and SMS campaigns in advance to keep your fundraiser communications on track.

Trellis Messaging lets you schedule campaigns ahead of time so your messages go out at exactly the right moment. You can choose a fixed date and time, or align your send timing with key milestones in your fundraiser.

Please Note: Scheduling is only available on certain Trellis plans.

How to Schedule a Campaign

  1. Log in to your Trellis account.
  2. Click Messaging from the left-hand panel.



  3. Set up and edit the content of your campaign. This article goes over the steps of creating a campaign in detail.
  4. In the Send Campaign section, select Schedule for Later.



  5. Choose a schedule type:
    • Custom Date and Time — Pick a fixed date and time. This stays locked unless you update it before the campaign sends.
    • Relative to Fundraiser Date and Time — Align your send timing with a key moment in your fundraiser, such as ticket launch or auction open. Next, select the fundraising driver you want to base your campaign on, then choose when to send relative to that driver. Please Note: Only drivers on your page can be selected.



  6. Click Schedule Send.


Pro Tip:
You can continue editing your campaign right up until it sends, giving you flexibility for any last-minute changes.

Once a campaign has been sent, it cannot be cancelled.
