How to Set Up Your Raiser's Edge General Integration Settings

In this article, we’ll guide you through setting up the General Settings for the Raiser’s Edge integration.

  1. Go to the Trellis Dashboard
  2. Select Integrations from the menu on the left-hand side and choose Blackbaud
  3. Click the blue Settings button
  4. Navigate to General Integration Settings
    1. In this section, you can enable the Auto-sync checkouts feature. To activate the integration and sync transactions, you must turn on auto-sync. Once enabled, every transaction made on Trellis will automatically appear in your Raiser’s Edge account.
  5. Enable Auto-sync checkouts



  6. Next, choose when you'd like your transactions to sync in Raiser's Edge, either Checkout Date or Payout Date.
    1. These settings will also impact how the GL Post Date appears in Raiser's Edge.
    2. If you select Checkout Date:
      1. The gift will sync at the time of checkout and the GL Post Date will be the estimated payout date.
    3. If you select Payout Date:
      1. The gift will sync when that transaction is paid out, and the GL Post Date will be set as the estimated date the funds will arrive in the bank.

  7. Click Save
