In this article, we will help you successfully wrap up your auction.
So your auction just ended, congratulations! Now let us help you wrap up your auction!
Your auction ends automatically with the date and time you have set it up to end on your silent auction settings. Now that it has ended you will have to check a few things to ensure that you fully wrap it up.
Pro Tip:
Auction auto-pay should be allowed to run 5-15 minutes depending on how many items you have without interruption during its processing time. Please avoid manual processing of donor carts.
1. Ensure that all your winners' bids were paid successfully.
Once your auction ends, the system will try to charge your winner's payment method. However, some of them might have not gone through successfully due to banking reasons.
To check those, navigate to your Dashboard then select Results. Click Bids under Auctions.
Select "Only Show Winners" beside the filter.
- If you see winners that are tagged "Unpaid", click on the three vertical dots and your email should pop up for you to email that person and give them a timeline to process their payment.
The item stays in their cart until they process the checkout manually with a working payment method. Here's an article you can send them as an instruction - Paying for unpaid auction item(s)
- If you see this donated bid icon beside an outbid that is unpaid this means that the donor opted to donate their bid if they don't win. This will show up as a donation on your fundraising report.
2. Once all of your winners' items are paid for you may now extract your checkout report to see your sales and fees breakdown.
