Payment Processing Fees
At Trellis, we utilize Stripe, a globally recognized payment processor, for all online transactions and credit card processing.
- The standard Stripe fee is 2.45% plus $0.30 per transaction.
- It's important to be aware that specific credit cards may have different rates on Stripe—American Express, for instance, incurs a 3% fee, while international credit card rates generally range from 3% to 3.5%.
Trellis Fees
Our annual plans grant you full access to all fundraising features, providing a tailored experience to suit your needs. You can review all Trellis plans here.

Starter Plan:
- $875 annual fee (3-year contract) with up to $25k in processing included
- Access to all Trellis fundraising drivers
- Group onboarding, help desk access, and email support

Pro Plan:
- $3000 annual fee (3-year contract) with up to $100k in processing included
- Raiser’s Edge integration
- Access to all Trellis fundraising drivers
- 1-1 onboarding, help desk access, and chat support

Pro Plus Plan:
- $5000 annual fee (3-year contract) with up to $250k in processing included
- Raiser’s Edge integration
- Access to all Trellis fundraising drivers
- 1-1 onboarding, help desk access, chat support, and personalized 1-1 calls as needed
If you have not signed any of our plans then you are defaulted in our Old Free Plan which is at 3.5%
Additionally, for Canadian organizations participating in ERS Raffles, there is an extra charge of 2.5% per transaction.
IMPORTANT:
If fees are covered by the donors then Trellis and Stripe Percentage fees are charged against the whole amount that is going through the checkout(gross) process not just the net.
If fees are covered by the organization, then the donors are charged with just the amount of the purchaseable. The Trellis and Stripe Percentage fees are deducted after it goes through the checkout process.
You will notice this on the Checkout Overview Sheet of your fundraiser report.
