Checklist in launching your Raffle with Trellis

In this article, we will provide you with a checklist for running your raffle with us!

 

Before anything else, you should have attended an onboarding session with us. If not, book here!

1. Do you have your raffle documents already?

To receive them make sure you fill out the raffle intake form so we can generate and send them. This is the very first step to kick off your raffle process, without this you won't be able to run a raffle.

Depending on your province you will receive the following documents to apply for your license:

  • Sample Ticket
  • A template rules of play
  • Contract
  • ERS Addendum
  • Checkout Sample
  • Web advertisement

Important Note: It will take us 1-2 business days to build and send back your raffle documents for you to submit to your gaming.

 

2. Is your banking enabled and do you have a lottery bank account added already?
Navigate to this link on how to set up your banking. 

Important Note: Depending on your province, gaming may require you to have a separate gaming or lottery account. Please consult your gaming authority to confirm.

 

3. Have you applied for your raffle license yet?

Trellis is just an electronic raffle service provider and is not authorized to apply for the license of the organizations as per provincial gaming law. You will have to directly apply for the eligibility and license to your provincial gaming.

Check your gaming website for more details regarding your eligibility and if you need to clarify anything regarding their process please contact their support as per advise.

 

4. Have you designed your homepage/raffle page?
There are mandatory pieces of information that you need to display when running a raffle per your province's regulations especially the RULES OF PLAY. Please ensure that to read how to design and what to display on your raffle page.



5. Have you received your raffle license already? Submit using the below!



Great! Now once we received your license we will upload that to your raffle settings and verify it internally. As soon as everything is verified accordingly, we will set your raffle along with your page to live so make sure you got your homepage design ready to go!

You should receive an email confirmation 1-2 business days after you have sent us your raffle license to confirm that your page is now live. Congrats and happy fundraising! 🎉
