[Set Up Your Event Tickets](https://help.trellis.org/event-ticketing?hsLang=en#set-up-your-event-tickets) # How to Use and Configure a Complimentary Ticket ## Complimentary tickets are ideal for sponsors, volunteers, staff, or others who need access to your event but don’t need to pay. Trellis includes a default Complimentary Ticket with every fundraiser. These tickets count toward your inventory and appear in the Check-In Tool, but are priced at $0 and hidden from your public fundraiser page so donors won't see them. ### **How to Configure a Complimentary Ticket** 1. Open your **Builder** and navigate to **Event Tickets**. 2. Click **Edit Event Tickets**. 3. Click **Add Event Ticket**. 4. Enter in your event ticket details and leave the **Ticket Price** empty. 5. Under **Advanced \> Ticket Visibility**, switch the visibility to **Hidden** if you'd like the event ticket hidden from your donors. 6. Optionally create a **Promo Code** that will display the event ticket for the donor when they enter the Promo Code during checkout. 7.
